Well, things are finally all getting in to a usual grove for me these days. I’ve got a great schedule with work and head to the YMCA almost every day after work. It’s nice to have a job that I love what I do and really enjoy what I do to keep things exciting. I’m also keeping busy with traveling and visiting family in Naples. I was down there last weekend with Mom, Dad and my brother and will be down again this coming week for Thanksgiving with my cousins. It’s always nice to get away for a weekend and relax. Yesterday I had a nice visit int he parks with my college roommate Aaron and we couldn’t have asked for a better day weather wise and attendance wise in the parks.
Today I am just relaxing and cleaning around the house. Not much to watch on TV so I have been flipping though Netflix on my Apple TV looking for something good to watch. So far, nothing that is peaking my interest yet. Time for more laundry and ironing. Anyways, just a quick update for now.
Well, work has been going great. I am still very much loving the new role and to date, could not be happier where I am at. It’s also been a nice relaxing last couple of weeks. First, Dad came down for a father and son weekend which was nice and relaxing and included a relaxing visit to Eckerd College, Ft De Soto State Park and the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Here are a few pictures from the visit to St. Petersburg.
So what else can make last week better? How about finishing it off with a 3-Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Wonder? My friend Brian and I took a last minute cruise deal and decided to head to the Bahamas for the weekend. Pictures are up below. That’s all for now folks. I’m back to cleaning house and getting settled back in to dry land.
Well, I’m finally on my way back home to Orlando (as I write this on the plane). As I said in my last post, it’s been a whirlwind of a week. I was home for about 18 hours on Thursday before hoping on a plane to Minnesota to visit home. I’m going to need to recover still from the cruise.
Trip home was short, only three nights, but was a full weekend. I was about to see a few friends but was mostly home for Mom. For those that don’t know, Mom has been working on her Doctorate in Education and had her graduation this past Saturday. So needless to say, it’s been a busy weekend with family and celebrating Mom.
Tomorrow will be my first day back to office after being off for ten days. Here’s to 200+ emails. Yes, that is after I’ve already cleaned out some while I was on the cruise and home. No other major plans coming up in the near future so it will be nice to get back in to my routine and get back to going to the Y.
Well today has been a productive day despite being a complete whirlwind. I debarked from the Disney Wonder around 9 this morning and took Mom and Dad to the airport. Since coming home, I have done all of my laundry and repacked my suitcase for flying out first thing in the morning to Minneapolis. I also got a chance to hit the YMCA today to help burn off some of the great meals I’ve had over the last four days. Just about to go get some dinner now before crashing early but, my latest photos from this past cruise are now up and can be found here or check out the slide show below.
So here we are almost two months down of 2010 and I’m fianlly getting back to posting on here. Things have been pretty hectic for me the past few months with my return to Magic Kingdom® Guest Relations and then my return back to Ticketing last month. Lots of exciting new opportunities back at Ticketing which makes the future look bright.
Anyways, work aside, I am finally on a kick to get myself back in to shape. I took the time to join the YMCA Aquatic Center and have made it a goal to go every day after work. So far, two weeks down and I’ve done it every day! I’m starting off with a mix of gym, weights, abs/core classes and swimming laps. I didn’t realize how much I missed swimming and the water so it’s nice to be back in a routine and back at a Y. For those that are new to following me on here, I’ve worked at two YMCAs and was a lifeguard and swim instructor for close to 8 years.
Well, laundry is almost done and I can put the last bit of stuff in my suitcase for my trip tomorrow. Here’s to hoping it warms up and that the weather is nicer in the Bahamas!
Cruise photos are now up on Picasa from my first Disney Cruise on the Disney Wonder this December with Mom and Dad. See the slide show below or visit my Photos page for a link.
Well, I am blogging from 10,000 feet up (even though this will post when I land) on my way back to Orlando from a 3 day weekend trip to New York City with the family. My brother Tim is currently working on his Masters of Fine Arts at Hunter College so Mom, Dad and I took the weekend to go visit.
Despite some rain, the trip was a lot of fun visiting several museums free of charge thanks to working for TWDC (American Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Modern Art) in addition to the Metropolitan Museum of art. In addition to museums, we also met up with my cousin Stephanie, who also lives in NYC. Overall, it was a great trip but, it reminded me of how much I missed London and how much I want to get back over there even for a short visit.
One more day off then back to work on Tuesday. Finally getting used to having Sunday/Monday off. My next mini vacation will be a quick overnight in St. Pete for a lifeguarding class at Eckerd College next weekend then its Orlando until September.
Well, time to sign off for now.

Well, it is official, I am on my way to Minneapolis for Christmas and snow. I’m typing this while I am on the plane but this should post as soon as I get connection when I get home. It’s nice to officially say I am on vacation after a busy last several weeks. Those have probably noticed that in the last few months, my posts to my blog have been limited. I do apologize for the lack in updates but I have been supper busy with work trying to produce close to 500,000 tickets for the Cast Members of The Walt Disney Company and have them all out the door by January 1. So I do have a valid excuse. Almost makes the long days in the parks seem like nothing at all.
I will be in Minnesota through Christmas which will be a nice change from working late and long hours in years past while others enjoyed their vacations. Not much else new to report. Still just trucking along. I should be posting my Holiday Newsletter later tonight or tomorrow morning as well once i get back online. Stay tuned for more updates in the new year.
Well folks, it is finally time again for me to take a vacation! Since my last vacation was in October, I am taking the next week off of work and will be in Paris, France visiting with my family. Should anyone need to reach me for any reason or just want to check in, I will have the BlackBerry with me and will be connected to e-mail, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger and BlackBerry Messenger. I will also try and update the blog when I get a chance. Bon Voyage!
