Wow is it cold! I am sitting in the warmth of my apartment with the heater turned on and set to 76ºF. Outside, the temperature is hovering around 45ºF before the wind chill is factored in. It is down right cold for Florida. I know my Minnesota roots should have me in shorts but, living in Florida has thinned my blood. Today I enjoyed a nice day off and walked around the parks a bit (Magic Kingdom and Epcot) before heading to the Magic Music Days deck for Candlelight. I sang in all three shows tonight with Eartha Kitt. She was excellent and was prrrrrfect for the part. For those that are wondering who Eartha Kitt is, she is a singer and is also known as Catwomen in the original Batman.
I am off tomorrow as well but will be picking up an extra shift at the Disney MGM Studios in the merchandise location at the Rock N’ Roll Roller Coaster. Only a little over two weeks left and still so much to do. I’ll relax after my shift and visit Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party and then crash for the night before going to Casting on Friday to transfer to Full Time. I can’t wait! Have a magical night!

Well, today T-Mobile launched Caller Tunes. Caller tunes are not ringtones that the person recieving the call hears. Caller Tunes are songs that the caller hears while waiting for the person to pick up. So now my callers will here the song of my choice (don’t worry it isn’t that bad) while they wait for me to answer. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Well, yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to sing in the Candlelight Processional with Jim Caviezel, Jesus Christ from Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ. He was amazing and funny at the same time. Before the second show, he came out and was joking around with the cast choir. After the shows, a group of us went to watch Illuminations and the special holiday ending. All I can say folks is that you will want to go see this ending. It plays the beautiful song ‘Let there be peace on Earth’ with lots of fireworks. In-fact, there are more fireworks in this last four minutes than in all the other shows on property combined! After the pyro display, Andy and I split from the group and went to go see Polar Express. Now, as a child I remember reading this book over and over. I really enjoyed the movie and it sends a message that you must believe. Great movie for all ages. Well, I am off to work the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tonight so have a great week!

Well, I know this is the day later but, last night was my first night performing with the Candlelight Processional at the Epcot Holidays Around the World Celebration. What an amazing experience. I am up there on-stage looking out over an audience of people from all over the world. Last nights narrator was gospel singer Kirk Franklin. It was so much fun! I know that I made the vacation for people in the audience and who heard me sing. Also, knowing that my parents and grandparents were int eh audience too was nice.
Mom and Dad came down for the weekend and both grandparent sets came up from Naples for a nice weekend with me at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. It was a great time. Well, off to bed. Thanks again for a great weekend Mom, Dad and Grandmas and Grandpas.

Well, the holidays are starting here at the Walt Disney World Resort. I know I haven’t posted in almost a week it seems but I have been busy with work. We are slowing down a bit after the rush at Thanksgiving and will start picking up again when we get closer to Christmas and New Years. Holidays around the World at Epcot is also started and I will be in the Candlelight Processional starting tomorrow night. Mom and Dad are here for the weekend and both sets of Grandparents should be up later today as well. Today is offically my Friday so I can enjoy two days off with my family since I wont be home for the holidays.
This morning I am at the Disney Learning Center in the utilidor at the Magic Kingdom killing time until I meet Mom and Dad for their tour at 8:45. I have been here since about 6 for the big Porperty Control tent sale where we can purchase new merchandise at 75% off normal prices. Can’t beat that! Anyways, I’ll post more tomorrow night after Candlelight.

Well, I just got in from one of the most memorable moving movies I have seen in a long time. Tonight, Paul and I went to the AMC at Downtown Disney to go see Finding Neverland. This movie isn’t just for fans of Peter Pan. This movie is so moving that it will make you want to go to Neverland yourself. The music (click album to right to load in the iTunes Music Store) and the ideas just push you to ‘think of a wonderful thought’ and head to the Second Star to the Right and straight on till morning. Finding Neverland is described as:
Director Marc Forster’s follow-up to “Monster’s Ball” is “Finding Neverland,” a tale of magic and fantasy inspired by the life of James Barrie, the real-life author of the children’s classic Peter Pan. Set in London in 1904, the film follows Barrie’s creative journey to bring Peter Pan to life, from his first inspiration for the story up until the play’s premiere at the Duke of York’s Theatre – a night that will change not only Barrie’s own life, but the lives of everyone close to him.
With just a little imagination, one can travel to an entirely different world. What
Finding Neverland does, is help one realize the power of imagination and how it can make even the old never grow up and say child like forever in Neverland. Is Neverland where you can dance with pixies and swim in a mermaid lagoon? Perhaps for J.M. Barrie but for everyone, Neverland is what you want it to be. Unlock your imagination and set yourself free. See ya in Neverland!

Well, my last post about Black Friday was results from the midnight rush. Now, having worked until 4am this morning unloading bins of hangers, I can say I survived. It was a zoo but supprisingly not as bad as the previous night. Today, I have a 10 hour runner shift. I can’t wait. Anyways, I am off to the Magic Kingdom to grab some food before I go in to work at 5. It will be another late night. Oh well, I’ll survive.

Well folks, last night at the Magic Kingdom was a zoo. I don’t think I have ever seen so many hangers. The store literally looked like a hurricane had gone through midway through the night. Good news is, we reched our budget and then passed it by a rather large amount. I can’t giveo ut numbers but let us just say it had a lot of zeros behind it. Now, off to work on this lovely Black Friday to all the shopping crowds.
