And he saves the day

Well, I know this is a little late at night but hey, I can’t sleep. This afternoon, I saved a kids life at the beach when he fell off the docka nd I ran over and jumped in to pull him out. I never knew kids coughed up so much water after they get pulled out. The kid is doing fine now, just a little scared I guess. Went over to James’ house tonight and then installed Opera on my iBook to give it a shot. I am an instant fan of it on my Nokia 3650 and am starting to like it on my mac. Will I give up Safari, well, that is still a tough call. G’Night for now.

The rain continues

Another slow day at Wayzata Beach. The day was mixed with cold wind and rain. Closed early again which was nice but also means less money coming in. My brother Tim was also working with me today. Sort of a change but it was fun. Just doing some minor site updates tonight as i relax.

Still Truckin’

Well, I am at Hopkins High now working in the Media Center. I have been out of the house since 0700 this morning. Worked at the YMCA this morning from 0730 to 1200 and then came over here. Last night was the last night of the Lifeguard Training class I have been busy with the last weekend and the first part of the week. 32. hours worth of time actually on top of working at the YMCA and Hopkins High. Tonight I can finally relax a little. Beaches open up on Saturday and Ima looking forward to being back at MCES again this summer. That’s all to report for now.

MoveableType is a go!

Well folks, after several hours today working on the templates and the overall feel for the site, I have successfully converted Webby Aquatics to a fully working site managed now by MovableType rather than Blogger. Special thanks to Walter at Eckerd College ITS for setting up the needed files.

Sorry it has been so

Sorry it has been so long. I have been super busy this past week with work and it doesn’t look like it will get much less busy any time soon. I have been teaching a lifeguard training class since Saturday adn that goes until Wednesday of this week. On top of that, I am working at Hopkins High School and the Ridgedale YMCA until the beaches open again on Saturday and then it is Sundays to Thursdays at Wayzata Beach. I’m looking forward to it but it will be a lot of work. So hang in there. I am also working on a way to leave Blogger behind and move over to Movable Type for this blog. Stay tuned.
