Well today was a SLOW ass day at Robinson’s Bay Beach. In the entire 6 hours I was there today, there was a grand total of 4 people, 5 ducks and 1 lifegaurd (me). Got to love the end of the summer and beach burn out.
Last night and this evening I have been working on new affiliates and udating links for Webby Aquatics, my business site. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Well I think today I went a little absent minded. I thought I lost my T-MOBILE phone and it turned out I had it in my backpack. I ened up driving all they way back to the beach and start raking thorugh the sand. I feel like such a tool. Oh well. Back to cleaning.

Ok so some might call me a little nuts but I went to the A*Teens concert last night at the Orphium here in Minneapolis. It was a blast! Sure the other groups kinds sucked but the A*teens were worth it! They did a mixture of the old Abbageneration stuff as well as their new rocking song Floorfiller. At the end of the concert my friends and I snuck out the exit to the sage door thanks to a lovely helper from the orphium and were going to wait to see the A*teens come out. Well some record company dude was there with his daughter and took us backstage where we go to meet the A*teens and chill with them for like 20 minutes! It rocked! Check out this picture of my friend Stephanie and myself with the A*teens. A*Teens you rock!

Well iTech ended yesterday and I was lucky enough to get in to the Begining and Advanced Unix classes for OS X. Unix is such a powerful OS and with Mac OS X you can get it on your desktop!

This week I am at Hopkins High all week for the iTech confrence run by Apple. Learning new things every day! Today I just installed the latest build of Mac OS X 10.2 and boy does it kick ass! It’s wicked fast and hella cool. I can’t wait for the final version. Well that’s it as of lunch time.

So toady was my day off and I took the chance to sleep in. This morning though, Apple Computer released a lot of new products including larger iPods with a 20 GB hard drive and windows compataility, a 17-inch iMac and several new programs called iSync and iCal. Both of the new products are designed to work with palm devices but will also work with any Sony Ericsson Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. now this is a reason in my mind for windows users to take another look at the mac. Sony Ericsson anounced that iSync will be the only program designed specifically for use with bluetooth mobile phones. Now if only I could get my hands on the new Ericsson T68i………

So today brings more rain for Texas. I don’t think it will take much more to start flooding again. I’m here on assignment until sunday. This week VoiceStream has officially become T-Mobile US My phone service is still the same but the last part of my phone’s address will be changing soon.

Today, I was up in Bandera County and the city of Bandera where we opened up a Service Center to process any needs for the clients. We give them immediate needs such as groceries, clothing, tools, medications and any other immediate need. We also work on starting the long-term recovery process. While in Bandera I was able to see first hand what the flood as done to these people. Although very small in comparison to other counties it was still a very moving experience. As of tonight we are starting to evacuate Corpus Cristi as the floods are moving down the rivers towards that community. We also have a possible tropical storm brewing in the gulf to make things even more interesting. Weather is still hot and humid. Reminds me a lot of Florida. Logistics is being very good about making sure we always have water and snacks available for us to stay refreshed.
